Speaking Words of Life

This three (3) part study focuses on what God’s Word says about how we as women use our words to speak life in to the lives of those around us.  The third session features teaching from Foster Christy.  It is a powerful lesson to us as we are immersed in the world and living for God.

Hungering for God

This four (4) part study begins in the Old Testament with a discussion of what bread signified in ancient days and the truth God communicates when he calls His own Son, the Bread of Life.  New insights are gained about “manna,”  the unleavened bread at Passover and the “showbread” in the tabernacle.  John 6 is the focal passage in the New Testament when Jesus proclaimed, “I am the Bread of Life.  He who comes to me will NEVER hunger.” The meaning of the table of God is examined in II Samuel as well as I Corinthians.  The study is rich with application while challenging the participant to find her satisfaction by savoring the Word of God and the sweetness of Christ who was born in a feeding trough in Bethlehem, the city of BREAD.

Restoring Your Soul

A four (4) session study focusing on what God is communicating in the Scriptures through the imagery of the Shepherd and His sheep. The study examines who the Shepherd is and what He is like—His eternal commitment to His sheep and His amazing love and care for them, even to the point of becoming the sacrificial lamb (Isaiah 53). During the study it will become clear how much like sheep followers of Christ really are. Using Psalm 23 and John 10 as focal passages, the key characteristics of sheep will be discussed. You will learn how to recognize a false shepherd and how to experience an abundant life in relationship with the Good Shepherd, the only one who can truly satisfy the sheep. You will be restored and refreshed as you dig into these familiar passages for deeper truth and application.

Tabernacle Communion Time

A five (5) sessions study using the typology of the tabernacle to challenge you to enter into greater intimacy with God. This study shows how each piece of the tabernacle pointed to Christ who opened the way for entry into the sanctuary of God, the Holy of Holies. The focus is becoming women of worship. God is using this particular study to transform the lives of female inmates in the prisons of South Carolina.

Abiding Joy in Difficult Times

John 15 is the central passage for this study which presents the 7 Realities of Abiding in Christ. Jesus teaches this central truth of the Christian life to His disciples just after they finish their last meal together before His death. Using the imagery of the vine and the branches, Jesus speaks of such things as pruning, joy, trials and abundant living in the power of the Holy Spirit. In practical ways the study teaches what is necessary in order to have joy, no matter what the circumstances. This study will surely change your life.

Discerning God’s Will

A three (3) part study using the life of Mary, the mother of Jesus, to examine the realities of experiencing God as we do His will. Each session is based on principles from a study by Henry Blackaby, however, the application targets women, who are the influencers of society. Through this study you will learn how to join God as He accomplishes His purposes in the world.

Your Year of Jubilee

A four (4) part study based on the truths God taught through the Year of Jubilee in scripture. During this year slaves were set free and God’s people reclaimed the land that was given to them to possess. The study focuses on God’s power to deliver us from the things that have enslaved us and the lies the enemy has caused us to believe. Those who complete this study should experience a new freedom and rest in Christ, who is the fulfillment of the Year of Jubilee.

Springs of Living Water

What woman is there who has not found herself spiritually dry at sometime in her life? This four (4) part study addresses such things as what contributes to spiritual dryness, what the remedy is and how God intends to refresh us and cause living water to spring out of our lives to refresh others. The teaching points to the significance of water in the scripture—what it symbolizes and teaches about God’s creation and His character and how often Jesus used water to teach.

Be Prepared

A 3-part-study based on 1 Peter 3:15: But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. Basic doctrines of the Christian faith are highlighted with a clear answer to the question, “What is the gospel anyway?” Included with this study are a doctrinal questionnaire and a definition of terms for the student who wants to be able to explain what they believe about some of the frequently asked questions of our day.
